This October, three bone chilling Haunts and a mind-bending Midway await you at the Del Mar “Scaregrounds”. The Haunted Hayride, Stars of the Silver “Scream”, and Labyrinth Manor will have you screaming for a way out! ! And the fun doesn’t stop there…..
NEW FOR 2023: Introducing a brand new attraction to our already frightful catalogue of events, we welcome MIDWAY MADNESS, a fully immersive Halloween themed carnival midway, packed with a variety of food vendors, fun spirited beverages, games, and more! Have your date hold your beer while you try to impress them with your Axe Throwing ability on one of the 4 clown themed lanes, or challenge a friend to Laser Ball, the trendy new glow in the dark Gel Blaster game. Whether you want to test your Zombie Apocalypse survival skills in Virtual Reality, or try a more hands on approach with our new Zombie Archery using real bows and targets, there is a spooktacular activity for everyone.
All are welcome to enter Midway Madness at no charge! Enjoy the carnival games, food and drink vendors, photo opportunities, and roaming creepy characters. While you don’t need a ticket unless you are entering the haunts, you are never safe from our monsters lurking about!

All tickets are for TRIPLE HAUNT admission, no individual haunt tickets are available.
Present your ticket for scanning at all points of entry.
Parking is $15 at the Fairgrounds. Drop-Off Zone is free.
How To Purchase
At the Ticket Booth
Ticket Booth hours are the same as the Haunt but will close early if it is SOLD OUT for the night. There is $3.99 service fee per ticket when paying with Credit Card at the Ticket Booth.
We accept credit cards as long as there are no unexpected issues with the internet connection. Should the sales system be down, we can only accept CASH on site.
On site SCREAM PASS express line upgrades will be based on availability and subject to PRICE INCREASE on busier nights.
We STRONGLY recommend buying ONLINE IN ADVANCE.
Group Sales
Group Discount Tickets are available when you buy at least 20 tickets in advance through the office.
Group Tickets are NOT VALID on FRI/SAT and are good through October 26.

Stars of the Silver SCREAM
Horror Icons of past and present stalk, stab, saw, and slash their way into your heart. Each character brings to life the spine tingling terror that made them famous. Horror films come to Life as Captain Spaulding, Valak, Freddy, Jason, and Michael Myers become all too real. By the time you smell the smoke of the chainsaw, Leatherface will have your head….unless Pennywise gets to you first! Good luck trying to keep your popcorn down as the adrenaline rush you will feel in this haunt may be your last.
Labyrinth Manor
As you and your group creep into this dilapidated old mansion, it’s deadly dangerous to lag behind…this old Victorian residence has been disturbed, upset, rattled, turned upside down in a vortex of chaos. Ride the Hellevator to unearthed levels of this haunted estate and find secret passages that lead to a deep dark labyrinth of catacombs, home to the dead and undead alike. The supernatural has claimed this dwelling as their own and you are the unwelcome intruder. As you run for your life through the underground dungeon and out into the spirit filled graveyard, it’s every guest for themselves.
The Haunted Hayride
Southern California’s original Haunted Hayride is back and more frightening than ever! Huddle together in the straw bales for a never-ending road trip on the creepiest Hayride north of Hell.
If you think you’re safe hiding behind others on the hay wagon, think again! The famous Haunted Hayride is filled with Hillbillies turned KILL-billies that have oozed out of the hills down to Via del la Valle stinking like feral forest critters following the scent of blood, post apocalyptic rage zombies on the prowl, chop-happy anthropomorphic butchers, iconic horror characters, cannibalistic dolls, and chainsaw wielding killer clowns….Oh my!!

JOB OPENINGS
Seeking candidates who are energetic, reliable, creative, creepy and of course, able to scare the daylights out of people! Actors should be in good physical condition and be able to endure a somewhat intense, free-style type of acting with many physically as well as vocally challenging scares. We look for agility and strong voices. This job is not recommended for those who cannot handle dark and enclosed areas. Acting experience is not required.
Seeking experienced Stilt Walkers who are energetic, reliable, creative, creepy and of course, able to scare the daylights out of people! Bonus if you have your own stilts or haunt related character costumes but not required.
Seeking experienced tractor drivers to pull our wagons with customers through the Haunted Hayride. Must have valid drivers license and be at least 18 years of age.
Seeking candidates with strong customer service skills that can carry out a variety of positions including: Ticket Taker, Greeter, Line/Crowd Control, Concession Sales, and various operational duties.
Makeup Artist, Build Crew, Tech, Scenic Painter, Prop Master.
